I often describe Future Academies Watford as a Sweet Shop of Opportunities.

Every jar contains something different: a subject that sparks curiosity, a talent waiting to be discovered, a sporting achievement, a leadership opportunity, a school production, a trip, a club, a competition or a passion that could shape a future career.

Some opportunities will be familiar favourites. Others may introduce students to something completely new. Our responsibility is to ensure that every young person has the confidence to explore, discover what they love and develop their own unique pathway to success.

The past year has been another exciting chapter in our Sweet Shop journey. We have celebrated outstanding examination outcomes, exceptional student destinations, sporting achievements, dramatic performances, enrichment experiences and countless moments of everyday success that demonstrate the character and ambition of our young people. While we are proud of what has been achieved, we remain relentlessly focused on what comes next and on continuing our journey from good to exceptional.
